Features

ARTIST NOTES: Taking a Risk, is an intuitive painting that explores risk taking. To some taking a risk is jumping from the top of a tall building with only a small parachute between them and certain death. To others risk taking is entering an art competition and letting strangers see your most intimate art works.

ARTIST BIO

I love to create art with emotion and texture. I use lots of different materials when working, such as craft papers, fabrics, acrylic paints, watercolour paints, pencils, pastels cardboard and anything else I feel will work.

While I do use brushes in some of my art I prefer to use unconventional implements, such as pieces of cardboard, paper, my fingers, knives, twigs, plastic sheets and anything else that I can get my hands on.

I have been away from the art scene for a few years due to personal reasons but now I have a wonderful studio in adelaide, SA and I like nothing better than experimenting and creating art.
