ARTIST NOTES: Ophelia is a character in William Shakespeare's drama Hamlet. She is a young noblewoman and potential wife of Prince Hamlet, who, due to Hamlet's actions, ends up in a state of madness that ultimately leads to her drowning. A classic subject for many painters over the years, this is my take on the definitive scene.

ARTIST BIO

Hi, Thanks for checking out my profile and paintings.

To keep it short, i'm a self-taught artist. I spent the last few years really doing deep dives into the Old Masters techniques & methods and have been practising, practising, practising until i reached a level that i was comfortable to start sharing.

I'm inspired by Rembrandt’s use of light and the story telling of Bouguereau grand paintings.

I have a website to take commissions for bespoke pet portraits if you would like to check them out:
www.oilandfur.com

Thanks for taking the time to check out my work, i appreciate it.
